Hey there ladies and gents....here we are on another fabby Monday.....it is time for......

Yessssssssssssss a NEW challenge over at the

Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog.....

Here we go.....

This week the theme is......Show Us Your King and Queen......You can make anything you like as long as it is Vintagy AND has something to do with a King or Queen......

This is what I came up with....

It took me a while before I knew what to make.......but when I started my project it just popped out of my head.....I made a candle booklet. A while back I got such a nice gift from my friend...and it was a candle booklet....I said to myself that one day....I would like to make a booklet like that myself....so and now I did.....

This is the back of my project......I have used these fabby papers and they are vintagy sooo coool......I have used the Martha Stewart Punch for the Borders.......and lots of distress inks.....For the borders I have used the Vintage Photo.......

So this is the middle of the Vintage booklet.......The candles on one side and my King on the other side.........a little ribbon to keep it together.......also these borders are made with the Martha Stewart punch......The crown is made with the Grungeboard from The Tim Holtz....and I worked on it with Crackle Paint Rock Candy.....wowzersss I just love that stuff....it gives such a nice look on your project.

And yep I made some more roses for on the front of the booklet.......worked on them with crackle paint rock candy and distress inks and a few pearls are placed on the leaves......

And here we have the other rose......this one is placed on top of my project......together with a little key, that I found in my closet hihihih how convenient eh?....

And yep here is the Queen...I am loving the embossing folders from The Tim......they are also worked on with Crackle Paint Rock Candy.....don't you just love it......heheh I love it....

And here is my front of the booklet....The front is worked on with Vintage Photo, Worn Lipstick, Forest Moss and Rusty Hinge. I made the Queen with the Embossing folder from The Tim Holtz and the Crown is made from Grungeboard and worked on with Crackle Distress Paint and Distress inks.
So there you have it....my whole booklet.....I just had so much fun making this......and it makes a great gift for someone....wohoooo....So guys, you wanna have fun too....then come on over to the Simon Says Stamp and Show and you even make a chance on winning the great and fabby prize from our generous sponsor.

Sketch Saturday Challenge #192 and more......

Hey there ladies and gents....Yess I know I am late again......but we had a fishy problem.....I bought some plants for in our aquarium yesterday and when I came into the livingroom the fishies were gasping to get some air......so weird, so we had to get them out of there, so there was a bit of a panic here.......seems that the plants that I bought were not all that good....my goodness, we allmost lost our 8 fishies......pffewww......so here I go.......here we are on another Saturday, so that means it is time for another fabby challenge over at the Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog......

And Jo had made a fabby sketch for us to play with....check this out

So here we go.....this is what I made for this weeks challenge.....

I used this image that I found on the internet......

I have distressed the borders

And this sentiment, I really like it a lot......

Also distressed the borders and used the Vintage Photo Distress ink....

And here is my card when it is finished....I used the wondefull papers from Prima Marketing....really love these papers, all so vintagy and wonderfull.......I have placed some lace, I found it in my closet it was just laying there waiting for me......and a few pearls and that is it....pretty simple eh? Completely forgot A Babycard......and some more....

Hey there ladies ....completely forgot to show you another Babycard that I mad, How on earth could I forget this card.........this is a card for a coworker, she is going to be a grandmother again and she had asked me if I could make a card for her....and offcourse I would.......

I have used an "old" sketchie from my teamie Jo from Sketch Saturday and made this cute little vintagy babycard with it.....I think it turned out really good, I am one happy crafter heheheh....

I played with the papers from Prima Marketing and placed a few flowers....offcourse I had to work on the flowers with Distress Inks and made a few pearls with the perlenpen......I hope you like the card.......I know I do.

And if you know me you know that I just love playing with lace too....so I got some of it out of my closet and placed it on my card......the sentiment is cute too eh? I think it is from Aud Design and I love it.....it also has those cute little babyfeet.......

And here is my whole card when it is finished.....I just love it....and I know that my co worker likes it too.....only thing I changed after was....the sentiment. But I really like this one too....And yess I offcourse Distressed everything with the paperdistresser and with Distress Inks. Just gives the card that special look.
So this was a card made by me just for Fun, can you believe it???My goodness that was a long time ago that I made a card just for the fun of it....hehehe.....

wohoooooo Mine is......

My favourite song is "Happiness" by Alexis Jordan so I made a Tag with lots of Happiness. I just love the song from Alexis Jordan.....just click the video to listen and look at it oke? You will be stunned......

Oke so I made a Tag for this weeks challenge with lots of Happiness on it.....I worked on the background with Tim's Embossing folder, and it is heat-embossed, the other half of the Tag is stamped and offcourse I have used lots of Distress Inks on the background and throughout the whole Tag...

The sentiments are from Artistic Outpost, can you see the Embossed letters on it??? I worked with the white embossing powder it gives the sentiment such a nice extra look don't you think??? I hope so LOL.

The Butterfly is offcourse from The Wendy and lots of roses are worked on with Rock Candy Crackle Paint.

To finish, I added lace at the bottom and underneath the image.

So what do you think??? Does it look like there is a lot of HAPPINESS on my Tag?? WE ARE LOOKING FOR 3 DESIGN TEAM MEMBERS......

Would you like to be a Saturday Girl?

We are looking for 3 new design team members to join Sketch Saturday! :)
Initially on a 3 month trial, with a view to a permanent position we hope.

What is required:

You MUST have your own personal blog and be prepared to post each week.

You must be able to make a card each week, and upload it before midnight (UK time) on the Friday before the challenge goes live.
You will get the sketches well in advance, so you will have plenty of time to create.
You can use any craft materials you like to make your DT work (except copyright protected images of course),
The only 'rule' is that you stick as close as possible to the sketch, but of course artisitc licence plays a part and is welcomed, you don't have to be 'spot on' but the sketch design needs to be recognised within your work.
You must post about our challenge on your own blog each week, leaving links to SS and to our sponsors on all posts.

You must be prepared to leave comments for challengers, currently 1 challenger in every 10, although you are of course allowed to leave comments for more should you have the time to do so.

You will be expected to take a turn hosting a DT week.
DT weeks are the first Saturday of each month, when it's your turn, we want you to make your own sketch for the challenge, arrange a sponsor, and arrange the guest designer (GD) too. You will be expected to type up the post for this week.
DT week is only for one week, but your GD will be with us for the whole month, so would be expected to make a card for each Saturday in the month that you are DT host. You are responsible for uploading your GD's cards each week before the deadline.
You must also type up the winners post the following week after your DT week, and arrange for your winner to receive their prize from your sponsor.

Sketch Saturday is a challenge blog like any other, and we are happy for our DT to be members of other challenge blog DTs too.
We expect ALL of our DT members to treat SS with the same respect as others.
If you are currently on other DTs then please apply to join us if you want to be a part of our team too, however, if it is going to be a problem for you to make a card for us if you have deadlines and/or rules from other DTs to keep to, then please do not apply if there is a possibilty that SS could be pushed to one side so that you can make your card for another challenge blog instead.
It's only fair to the other SS DT members.
Saying that, real life has a habit of getting in the way sometimes, and if you need time out from all crafting for a while, that's no problem, we will cover your commenting while you take a break.

Simon Says Stamp and Show, Show Us Your Anything But A Card......

Here we go.......the challenge for this week is SHOW US ANYTHING BUT A CARD....

so you can make anything you want but NOT a card.....and as long as it is VINTAGE you are more then welcome to join into the fun over at the Simon Says Stamp and Show......

Here is what I made......

I decided to Go for Valentines and altered an "old" choclit bowl. My own handmade VALENTINES CHOCLIT BOWL.....how cool is that eh?

Sometime ago my neighbour lady came over and gave me the bowl from Ferrero Rocher (LOL tooo bad it was empty though) and I thought that would come in handy ONE DAY....so now it was the time to use it....I thought of Valentines and YUMMIENESS....and something popped into my head right away.....so what did I use for this project mmmmmm..... I used Gesso for the outside and a lot of Red tinted Distress inks such as Barn Door, Fired Brick, Vintage Photo, Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose...yep hard to believe perhaps but I used all of them fabby ones....So I worked with A little bit of The Tim and a little bit of The Wendy and a lot of myself (LOL)

The roses are just so lovely to work with.....and I had fun with them....

The hearts are from the Tim's Idea-ology Grungeboard, this one is the Dots elements and shapes. This side is the front of the hearts......

And this is the back of the hearts, since they turn I thought I just have to cover this side too....I played with the Idea-ology Game Spinners and Sprocket Gears.. Does the heart look great??? or what? I just love these little cracks in it......and offcourse some lace that I found in my closet hehehe....

At first I took the lit off cause otherwise you cannot see the hearts that clearly....so now you have an idea how it looks like .......

And this is what it looks like when the lit is on ......some yummie choclits inside and my project is done....The front just looks like a heart eh? I did that on purpose offcourse......I decorated the egg with this wonderfull lace of roses.....and colored the lace with the Fired Brick Distress ink.

and what do ya think off the Idea-ology Timespieces? I used one on the back of the Bowl....the Huge Wings are from the Grungeboard also and were worked on with yep...the Crackle Distress Paint, the White Picket Fence and lots of distress inks....I think they worked out pretty good..... The hearts are worked on with lots of Crackle Paint Rock Candy and Crackle Distress Paint. I know I am just an addict on Crackle.....it gives such a wonderfull look....on anything that you use it on.

On Top of the bowl I placed a Just Fly Butterfly from The Wendy Vecchi, I am in love with this fabby butterfly and I really enjoy it every time I work on them cuties.....

This digi sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly and a while back I purchased it from them....worked on it with Glimmermists.......

You just gotta get these dies from Marianne Design..they are just great and called Creatables....this is the English Rose...and what I did was, worked on them with distress inks such as Vintage Photo and Barn Door and played with some Crackle Paint....I am an addic I know, but I just have to play with the Crackle cause you will get such an amazing look.....

And how about this cute little Vintage image.....I got it from the internet....there are a lot of these fabulous images that you can find on the internet....and I am glad I found this cutie.......

And here is my card....I played with some pearls from the perlenpen......and made some swirls......The papers are from my new paperpad from Prima Marketing and has some pretty colors and designs in there.....so I am hoping you will like my new card for this week and if you wanna have lots of fun too, then you better come over to the Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog and while your their just check out the fabulous creations my amazing teamies made for your inspiration....wohoooooooo

Oke here we go on to this week.....

and this week the theme is.....

Show Us Your RED LETTER DAY.....well maybe you think what is this......well.....I thought the same heeheh but some of my amazing teamies explainted it to me and then I had a idea......

I took the challenge LITTERLY and made a Tag with RED LETTERS on it...and used a wonderfull image from a little girl. I found her on the internet and thought that she was sooo cute.

I worked on her with Crackle Paint Rock Candy and distressed the borders with the Paperdistresser.

The background of the Tag was made with Tim Holtz techniqiue of the 12 Tags of Christmas.....I used The Tim Holtz embossingfolder, then embossed allmost the whole tag with the Copper Embossingpowder.

The flowers were worked on with Crackle Paint Rock Candy and everything is distressed with Forest Moss, Bundled Sage, Worn Liptick, Barn Door, Frayed Burlap and Vintage Photo.

The sentiment was made with the red color Barn Door and rewrited with the Spica Glitter Marker. And underneith the sentiment I placed the Metal Gamespinners.

Oke here I go ....with what I made for this week.

I have used this fabby butterfly that I got from Krista, I colored it with distress inks and played with the Glimmermists a bit.....

And I just loveeeeee this sentiment and how about you???????these words mean so much.....for a little little person...got any idea what kind of card I made?????????//

And I have placed some little roses.....I have placed some Crackle Paint Rock Candy on top of the roses to give it that special effect. I know I admit I am a Crackle Paint Addict LOL.....I just have to put that stuff on top of everything hihihi.....but you have to admit that it gives the roses just THAT bit of extra doesn't it?

And here is that amazing image of the little baby feet.....I know you will probably think here she comes again with te "musshy talk"......I love this image really I do.....I used the perlenplen to make the little pearls.....they are so much fun to put on your cards......

And here ya go, the whole enchelada so to speak hihih.....the papers are from PION DESIGN, it is the most wonderfull VINTAGY paper ever and it comes from Sweden.......and I just love it...so much color in there and so many different colors.....hope you like my card for this week ......I am for one very pleased about it.....and that does not happen often.

When I heard the new theme for this weeks challenge I immediatley thought of Love.....and 2012.....so I made A LOVE GIFT BAG to start the NEW YEAR with.....I know it does look a bit small..but I can tell ya it is not hehehe you can even put a nice present for someone in the bag......

I used an "old" bag and altered it with a lovely image from a girl, worked on her with Crackle Paint Rock Candy just like the roses, to give it that special look......

Even the little flowers on the front of the bag are worked on with Crackle Paint Rock Candy.....Underneith the image I used a heart shaped doily. The papers that I worked with are from Graphic 45 Baby and Bride. Collection....

This is the back of the bag....The back of the gift bag has the papers from Graphic 45 on it. Just that...I kept it very simple on the back cause the front of my project has more then enough on it....only thing that I attached was the lace....

This is a picture of the top of the bag....I thought I would use lace for keeping it together..... I distressed everything with Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo and Worn Lipstick.

And this is my whole project when it is finished.....I attached the lace at the back so when you look in the front it looks different then when you place it in front....I thought that would be nice to do something different then what I usually do.....so worked on some pearls right through the 2012.......Everything I make has a meaning so also my Love gift bag.....I need for you to understand that A New Year had New opportunities and when you have found LOVE keep holding on to it....so LOVE is the KEY to a NEW YEAR, so CELEBRATE LOVE in 2012......So do I make any sence?? Hey there ladies, here we go on the LAST Saturday in 2011......I know where did the time go eh? So we have another fabulous new Sketch Challenge in the SKETCH SATURDAY CHALLENGE BLOG......made by Jo, and I can tell a it is a fabby one....
Karita, had to take the difficult decision to leave our design team, so sad to see her go,Going to miss you sweetie and I wish you good luck in the new year.

I found this wonderfull litlte angel on the internet......I printed her on the special paper that gives her the "old" look, do you see the little crackle in there......I just love it....distressed her with inkies and used the paperdistresser on the edges........and placed her on a different color of paper.....

And I have used these fabby little lightblue roses and placed a little heart embellishment underneith.

The sentiment I got from a good and sweet friend......"With Love" right back at ya hunni...

Things With Sparkly Wings....so whatever you make it has to have sparkly wings wheather it is a bird, angel or girl or whatever as long as it has sparkly wings....
I can tell ya your going to have some fun with this one....I had hehehe..

I had these flowers in my closet for a long time so it was time that I was gonna use them eh? and the little charmes I attached underneith.....so you can say I am still in a Christmas spirit so this will be my last Christmassy card.....for this year anyways.....

And how about this cutie.......it is one fabulous digistamp that Roberta made, you know our Queenie from Prairie Fairy......she makes the most wonderfull digistamps and you can purchase them here......it will take you to the Prairie Fairy Design Store.

Here she is a little bit closerby....so you can see what I did....yep I made here into a 3D fairy......and colored her with my Spectrum Noirs.....do love those pens.......and her wings are real sparkly and worked on with stickles.......placed some pearls and I think she is beautifull....isn't she?

This is the top of my card what do ya think about this eh? I love the lace yep I do.....hehehe and the little buttons.....how convenient eh? for a Christmassy card......hihih

And offcourse for Christmas there has to be Christmas Joy.....I stamped the sentiment with a white Paintdabber and heatembossed it with the white embossing powder.

So here we go with the new theme for this weeks challenge; Show Us Your Tim Tags....yep that means you can use any technique that Tim Holtz used in his 12 Tags for Christmas.....you make your tag just how you want it to be, just be sure you make it Vintage and You use a Technique that Tim used.....so that is not so heard now is it????????????? I could even make a Tag Tim's way so I am sure that you can do it.....

Oke here we go this is what I made for this weeks challenge

I love making tags therefore I made several tiny tags and one huge one....I used The Tim's newest Winter Edition Distress Inks, embossed the background with the Stars folder and then embossed the stars with white embossing powder.

For decoration I used some pine-cones and a self-made strip underneath.The pine-cones were worked on with an Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber, For the pine-cones I used some Crackle Paint Rock Candy to give it that frosty look.....

the stamp set is Tim's Season's Silhouettes and Gold Stickles was used on the sentiment.
Oh and let me show you the tiny tags that I made....

Just a few more ideas for you to make a tag......and I just made them just for the fun of it......and yep it is a lot of fun to make tiny tags....and the Tim Tag was lots of fun tooooo wohoooo

I have played with this wonderfull cheerfull girl she is obviously Vintage and I just love to work with vintagy images.....I have distressed the borders and placed her on a nestie...

The lace I found in my stash, really love the vintage lace a lot with the little pearls in it,

And here is my finished card, the papers are from our cheapest store where you can get a lot of crafty stuff....I just love this paper. First all the paper that I used was yellow paper, I just played with my Distress inks and made the yellow ones greenish and brownish......I just love it. LOL and you should have seen my inky fingers hehehe. Placed some lace underneith the image that gives it an extra vintagy look eh? I am pretty pleased with my card, do you wanna have fun too with Jo's sketchie??? This week our theme is SHOW US YOUR .....THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS, OR A PROJECT WITH DEPT.....You can make anything you like as long as it is VINTAGE and has depth in it.....or on it.....

Here is what I came up with.....

I was experimenting with the Configuration Box and I was teasing my teamies a bit (LOL) but at the last minute I decided to create a Vintage Steampunk Configuration box. I used Tim's Configuration Box of course and Tissue Tape on top of the box.

The papers used for the background are from Graphic 45, Steampunk Debutant.

The compartments were filled with The Tim's Sprocket Gears, Timepieces, Spinners, 7 Gypsies Clear Bottles and everything was distressed with Distress Inks from the Winter Limited Editon, Forest Moss, Spiced Marmalade and Vintage Photo.

I played with Rock Candy Crackle Paint and Picket Fence Crackle Paint on the Box top and front

The stamps are from The Tim Holtz Seamless Experience set. I can tell ya guys, at first I thought this was going to be a realllllll challenge for me since I had never played with a Config box before....but I was having soo much fun with it.....that I want to make another one in the near future....that is for sure......

So here is my whole finished project.......the Steampunk Configuration Box.....I hope you like it....I am pretty pleased with it since this was my first one.....So you wanna have fun too....then come on over to the SIMON SAYS STAMP AND SHOW challenge blog and do join into the fun....I wish you lots of fun......

I have used an Vintage Image from the internet of Santa Clause....really love the vintagy images a lot......All the borders are distressed and worked on with Distress inks

.....and I placed some lace at the bottom and a few flowers and walla my Vintagy Christmas card is done.....

This is my finished card, I have played with the wonderfull vintagy papers, they have embossed snowflakes on the papers.......and the colors are made with Distress inks such as Vintage Photo and Forest Moss.....

SO here I go....with what I made for this week

When I heard what the theme for this weeks challenge was, I did not know what to make and at first I wanted to make TAG....but after a while of thinking I decided to try out the Pocket Watch from The Tim Holtz... What a fabulous way to make Christmas scenery, especially creating SANTA'S watch! When you read my post you know what I mean with creating SANTA's watch......
Hope you can see what kind of scenery I made inside the pocket watch.....I used a really cute image and it really looks like the Northpole eh? A little snow on the rooftops and at the bottom of the scenery.

I altered the cute Vintage Santa with Distress Inks and used the Sprocket Gears and Game Spinners inside the Pocket Watch. At the back of Santa in his HUGE bag of presents I placed a Christmassy Flower with the Tim Holtz Floral Die flower

Santa is holding a Timepiece to let everyone know that it's almost time for Christmas.
I also added some snow and Stickles inside the Pocket Watch to make it look like the North-pole.

So and hereeeeeeeeeeeeeee's SANTA....yep my whole project for this week.....I am so glad that I found the SANTA in my stash.....and if you would like to have that much fun making a project....then come on over to the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog....first your gonna have fun and second your not going to believe what my AMAZING TEAMIES made for you to get some ideas what to make....my goodness, Completely YUMMIENESS for your eyes....so guys come on over and have some fun.....And you can even win a fabulous prize from the

Oke here we go, this is what I made for this week...

I found this cutie on the internet and yep this is another week that I did not color an image but chose a beautifull girl from a Vintage site.....I added some lace on the bottom and on top and played with the perlen pen.....

So as I was saying I was playing around with the perlenpen, I think it gives soo much more to a card....and the little roses were placed on top of a few punched out snowflakes.....and a metal snowflake underneith.

And how about this lace, I think it is completely Yummie....I just love the lace.

So here we go with this weeks challenge...Show Us Your Stars......so you can make anything you like as long as it is VINTAGE and has STARS on your project, so let's get your thinking cap on guys and let's have some fun......

This is what I made for this weeks challenge.......

With Christmas in mind, I have created a candle-holder with lots of stars. Just perfect for a seasonal table centre-piece! I worked with the fabulous Christmas Emporium papers from Graphic 45, my goodness did you ever see those fabulous papers from Graphic 45......wowzers they are really amzing guys....

and for the stars I worked with Golden Distress Stickles

using lots of Distress Inks on the edges and reindeer. To finish my festive piece, I topped everything off with Perfect Pearls Mist. And I placed some snow at the bottom of the candle holder.........

I found some stars on a hanger in my closet and thought that I could use them too.....I love them......and you???

And yep I could not help myself and I just had to play with this lace.....and I made a few bows out of it.

And I placed a bow on the top in front of the little candleholder....the pearls on a string are from my own stash too.....

Now you have seen every piece of the candleholder, all around....I am pleased with the result and I hope you will like it too....

I did not want to color an image so what I did was, checked out my closet and what did I find in there....hehehe...

This cute little vintage girl......I just love her....she is such an angel..
I have placed some lace around her.......and punched out some snowflakes and worked with the gold stickles for once.....think it looks pretty good....

And here is my finished card, I am pleased about it........Hope you like her too.....I really like the papers too....fab colors and something different then I usually use....Even the little birdie was in the papers....

And for this week we have a this theme.....
SHOW US YOUR TICKETS........you can make anything you like but it has to be VINTAGY and your TICKETS have to be in it.

When I had some new stamps in my hands, I knew right away what I wanted to make with the tickets theme.

So I made a card with lots of homemade tickets of different sizes and colours. I worked with the new distress inks, from the Fall Seasonal Edition and Winter Seasonal Edition, these colors are so fabulous....I really love them.....

For the background I played with the Silhouette Grass from Hero Arts and heat embossed it with the copper embossing powder.

The sentiment on the upper ticket is from The Tims Odds and Ends. The punched butterflies are from Nellie Snellen, punch and emboss almost at the same time, when you play with these fab punches I just know you will have lots of fun....really......
I found some lace in my closet and at first it was white LOL....not anymore, they were worked on with the new Distress inks......

And here is my whole project.....I think you know that I just love butterflies.....I happened to find this wonderfull stamp with the butterfly, just love it.....And I thought I will make a huge ticket underneith to place it on and the sentiment with the ticket underneith......I think I am pleased with my project for this week.......so guys, you wanna have fun too then do join into the fun and come on over to the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog....and don't forget to check out ALL of the AMAZING and versatile projects of my even more AMAZING teamies...wohooooo....

I have punched out a few snowflakes and placed some perlen on top with the perlenpen, so much fun to play with those pens.....

and some more perlen hhihih and I could not resist and cut a ticket and used the text from it......

I found this girl on the internet and I think she is such a cutie....so for this week a cute little image and nothing to color .....and all around her I have placed lace to give it that vintagy look....

And here is my finished Christmas card, I played with the cheapest paperpad I think...there is this store in Holland....and it is called Action...dunno if you have a store like this in your country but we Dutch girls are really happy with it....they have the nicest stuff for crafters...wohoooooo

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge #66

Hey there guys, I know I am soooo late with posting my card for the Prairie Fairy Fun Friday Challenge...but have been very busy......finally here it is.....though...
Oke guys, This week at the Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge Blog our Hostess is Kendra....and Kendra wants us to show us our Fall Creations...so I made a Fall Card....
I have used such a sweet image from Roberta's Digistamp Shop.....check this out...She is called Purrfect Friends and you can find her here.
So this is what I made for this fortnight.....The pictures are not that great, I am sorry about that...but he..it is dark outside LOL....

Isn't she just a cutie......I think so hihihi.....I have colored her with the spectrum noirs......and distressed the borders......placed some lace underneith.....

I made this "flower" with the little leaves from the Martha Stewart Punch...and placed a button on top with a bronze colored flower......I think it worked out well. LOL but that is my opinion hehehe.

So here is my card when it is finished.....I am totally pleased with the card, thanksss Kendra for this wonderfull challenge.....I really had fun making my card......I have used the Fall paperpad from K&C Company, Tim Coffey's specialty papers....really love the fall colors in it......

Simon Says Stamp and Show , Show us Your Woman Only

Oke here I go with my project for this week...this week it is

Show Us Your Woman Only

.....so that should not be toooo hard eh? cause a lot of us are woman so you better get your thinking cap on and start crafting something for a WOMAN ONLY......you can make anything you like.....as long as it is VINTAGE and for WOMAN ONLY

Lets see what I came up with......

When I thought of the Woman Only project for this week, I was thinking of an altered photoframe, perfectly fit for a woman only...so I found a fab classy lady on the net, to use for the frame........she really looks like a mystery woman doesn't she???

the frame is worked on with Wendy Vecchi's Art Parts Leaves and I played with Faded Jeans.

The Flowers are from The Wendy, Dreams of Art and worked on with Distress Crackle Paint and colored with Vintage Photo, Faded Jeans and Forest Moss. On the flowers I used some spacers and the perlen pen. And yep I found a little shoe in my stuff so I thought how feminin is that eh? And the last placed flower has a little beat on top, it is from a broken bracelet....how cool is that eh?

This stamped up image is from The Tim's Seamless Experience cling stamps, they are absolutely georgous and you can use them in so many ways....and yes I found a string of silver dreads and a "head" of silver with bling in it so I thought that would look nice on her head.

And how about the border that I placed underneith the frame? I made it with the Wendy Vecchi Dreams of Art stampset...... and placed the beads from the broken bracelet on top....it gives it a bit of a shiny look ......The Huge button is from an old vest of mine hehehe....I did not like the vest but the button....completely YUMMIENESS....LOL....

And I even roled up a postcard from the Graphic 45 paperpad, thought that it was just what the frame needed at the bottom.....

And here is my whole project....I hope you like what you see, I sure do.....and the woman that I made it for liked it a lot wohoooooo.....
The swirls are from The Tim's Grungeboard Elements and colored with the Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans.

I think it just looks like the real thing hihihi...

And here is a little star with a bow on top....I worked on the star with gold stickles.....cause there is gold into the lace.

Oke here we go with this weeks challenge....

This week we would like you to

Show Us Your Recycle/Upcycle Projects.....

you can make anything you like, as long as it is made from a recycled box or whatever and it must be VINTAGE......so better get your thinking cap on and start crafting wohoooo and dooo join into the fun.

I am always recycling "old" stuff so this challenge was right up my alley. I made a Christmas wrapping out of an old box for underwear. LOL, mens underwear LOL!

I have used the fabby paperpad from Graphic 45, this paper is so beautifull and you can do so much with it...I have played with Vintage Photo and Aged Mahogany and worked with The Tim's Odds and Ends.

The front is a lot of tiny little images glued all together and placed on a square wooden piece. It is worked on with Distress Crackle Paint. I just love the crackle paints it gives such a great look on your project.....yesss I am addicted, I admit it......LOL....

I have placed a spacer in the middle, or should I say two spacers....to give it this look....It just looks like a star doesn't it?

The lace is from my own stash and was made into a bow. I have placed a bow on both sides of the Wrapping.

Oke here is the front of my finished Recycled project, I hope you like it.....I know I do and I think I have a pretty good idea who is going to get this wrapping with a present inside offcourse...hehehe.....

I have played with this cutiepie from LOTV, I just love this little bear......colored him with my spectrum noirs and used the Decorative Chalks for the background. And on his hat I worked with some snow....

The lace I bought in Linda's Etsy Shop, you really gotta check this shop out with all the wonderfull lace and embellishments that she has.....I just love this lace....

And what about these wonderfull snowflakes......I punched them with the punch from Mcgill, it is called Starburst.....

So this is my card when it is finished.....The papers that I have used come from the cheapest store in Holland...(At least I think so) don't you just love the colors.....they really have great Christmas Vintage papers.....

This is what I made....

I made a card for a NEW HOME. I don't have that much in my stash to make a house but I did my best with the colors.... Rusty Hinge, Forest Moss, Weathered Wood and Vintage Photo , they were used on the background.

I used a lot of buttons on the roof.....

and on the flower. On top of the card and on the roof Crackle Accents was worked with just to give it that special look.

The flower is from The Wendy Vecchi Dreams of Art stampset.

The hands are from 7 Gypsies Clearstamp Set just like the sentiment.

Hiya girlies.....I am soooooo very late with posting my DT card for this week, but.......it has a very good reason .....My hubby and I were having a mini vacation with all the co- workers and boss from the company that he works for, we went away last Thursday to Berlin, Germany and just came back tonight.......we just had the greatest time and everything was soo interesting and beautifull to see...my goodness.....and offcourse we had lots of fun and spent the last 3 nights in a beautifull Hotel in Niewitz Germany.....so that is why I did not post last Saturday.....but here I go......

Show Us Your One Colour.......

You can make whatever you like, as long as it is VINTAGE and ONE colour.

So let's get that thinking cap on and start crafting oke?

This is what I made .....

I made a Christmas Tag with lots of snowflakes and the fabulous colour Weathered Wood.

The snowflakes on the tag were heat embossed and the ones on top are worked on with Distress Crackle Paint clear rock candy to give it the frosty look.

The sentiment is from the Crafty Secrets Stampset Vintage and also worked on with Crackle Distress Paint...can you see the little cracks on it.....

This flower was made with the Retro Flower Punch....and the ends were cut to make it look like a Christmas flower.....or poinsenetta....and the lace that I used first was white but offcourse I had to give it a color.....the Weathered Wood distress was used.

This is what I made for this week

I have played with this cute little snowman from Penny Black....I think he is soooo cute....I have colored him with my Spectrum Noirs and used a little crackle distress paint at the bottom....to make it look like snow....added some embossed stars from the stampset that I just bought yesterday....

And on the side of the card I placed some Pearls with the perlen pen...

And this is my card when it is finished....my teamie Cazza had such a fab idea with the border so I hope she doesn't mind that I taken over that idea, it really looks great with a punched border.....the papers are from the cheapest store in Holland....and I just love these papers, it looks like they are embossed...I hope you like my card, I know I do...and that does not happen that often LOL......

Hey there ladies and gents, here we go with another Challenge on the Prairie Fairy Fun Friday Challenge Blog.....
Our Hostess this week is my teamie Dionne....and she has chosen the theme Wet Embossing...or embossing with the heatgun.....I really like to make something with a heatgun so I really had fun with this challenge......
Oke here it comes.....this is what I made ......

Oke this maybe looks a little funny LOL....but this is one of the borders that I heatembossed.....with white embossingpowder.....it looks neat eh?

I have used these fab punched out snowflakes and placed them on top of the flowers......and in the middle some glitz and glimmer....

And what about this cute little Gilli's Caroling ?? I really love this cutie.....I placed her on a nestie and yep embossed the border of the nestie too with sort of a pinkish color...and the borders of her coat.......and if you wanna see more just like this cutiepie, then come on over to Roberta's Digishop and you are not going to believe your eyes what an artist Roberta is, the most wonderfull digi's that Roberta made are right there.....just click the linky right here....and it will take you there.

And I finally managed to make a cute little bow.....from a Christmas lace........hope you likey......LOL.

Stripes made me think about Christmas, presents around the Christmas tree and stockings on the chimney and eggnug...., so this time I made a Christmas card and I inked it all up with Vintage Photo and Aged Mahogany.

I have used the papers from Christmas Past from the fabulous Graphic 45 paperpad. I worked on some wings from the Simply Wings Art Parts from The Wendy Vecchi and they are really fabulous to work with......and offcourse I just HAD TO use the Glossy and Distress Crackle Paint on the wings......LOL....

and I did the same on the small images from Christmas Past (do you see the little crackles on it??)

and I heatembossed the Sentiment from The Tim 's Odds and Ends.

The little snowflakes were punched with the McGill Starburst punch.

And I found this lace in my closet and could not resist to use it, made some folds in it and placed it underneith the wings......I think it looks really nice this way LOL....

And here we have the whole finished project for this week......hope you like it......I am pleased with my finished project......LOL and that does not happen very often LOL.....

How about this little guy from LOTV, I just love this little one....I have colored him with the spectrum noirs......and place a bow underneath him with a little snowflake.

And on top of the card another bow....the lace just looks like little snowflakes eh?

Simon Says Stamp and Show, Show us Your Wings.....

Hey there ladies and gents, here we are with yet another fabulous challenge on the First day of this brand new week....it is Monday so come on over to the

So oke, here we go....this week the new theme is

Show us Your Wings.....

And this is what I made

When I heard the theme for this weeks project was wings, I was thinking about the birds....bluebirds turning vintage....so I made an Autumn Memory Box with bluebirds on top. This little box would be just great for my Mom's birthday next Thursday...I worked with the fabulous stamp set from Artistic Outpost and the stamps from Hero Arts Silhouette Grass, Of course, I could not leave the Crackle Accents alone and just had to use it on the birds....

I played with the box on the outside and even stamped the inside of the box and embossed it with copper embossing powder. Everything was distressed with Vintage Photo, Rusty Hinge and Forest Moss.

This is one of the borders....I played with the Hero Arts Stamp with different colors of Distress inks....and it is a lot of fun to do.....

This picci is just to show you what you can do with the different sides of a box.....I colored the lace with 2 distress inks....such as Forest Moss and the Rusty Hinge...and it gives you this look on what used to be white Lace......

Here is a button that I found in my Mom's knittingcase....and the little key was found in my stash.....added a few pins and a shiny thingy......I think it looks nice.....

And here is my finished Autumn Memories Box ....I hope you will like it and I hope that my Mom will like it too.....

and this is what I made for this weeks challenge

I have colored this cute little Christmas girl from LOTV, used the Spectrum Noirs and for the snow I used little snowflakes and Stickles.....to give it some extra...

I punched some snowflakes and placed the cute little roses on top and underneith the image I placed lace that looks a lot like snowflakes....

And the sentiment is worked on with Decorative Chalks....

Prairie Fairy FUN Fridays Challenge #63 and more.....

Hey there ladies and gents, here we have another Fabulous Fairy Fun Friday Challenge on the blog...wohooo and it is a fun one again..check this out ....Dorte is our hostess for this week and you just gotta check this one out....

This is what I have made.....

How about this beauty....I colored her with my Specci's and I can tell ya I just love Gilly's bike...check it out in Roberta's store ladies.....and there a lots and lots more where Gilly came from so you better run over there and check it out......

I placed some roses at the bottom and on top.....with some leaves that were punched out.....

And here are the other roses.......aren't they just fabulous......

I chose this Sweet Thing sentiment....it is just a perfect fit don't you think?

distressed it a bit with the victorian rose distress ink.....

Hey there guys, here we are on a fabulous Monday with another fabulous challenge at the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge....

I must tell you that I just love everything Wendy.....my goodness this wonderfull lady is such an artist and she makes the most wonderfull projects.....and offcourse she has fabulous products you can buy at the Simon Says Stamp Superstore, so check it out guys.....your not gonna believe your eyes how fabulous it ALL is....

So as I was saying I just love everything Wendy, she is just one fabulous lady....So I decided this time to make a special card with the most fabulous Wendylicious products..

the most fabulous Butterflies such as Just Fly and .......

Flutterby Butterfly isn't she just wonderfull.......I have placed some crackle accents on top of her.......

and the Art Parts set Simply Wings. (and this is just one wing from the set, there is so much more in the Art Parts set).

Every piece I have worked on is being inked with Vintage Photo, Rusty Hinge, Peeled Paint, Weathered Wood, Spiced Marmelade and Ripe Persimmon. Allmost everything is worked on with Crackle Accents and Glossy Accents to give it that special look.

And here is my complete Wendy Card......The background is distressed and the stripes are from The Wendy's Stampset Dreams of Art....The sentiment is from the Stampset Look and You Will See...and I am completely in love with the stampsets...wowzersss.....and can you believe it when I say that there's lots and lots more in the store from The Simon Says Stamp......and they offer a great prize that one lucky person will win.....wohoooooo

I have played with this cutiepie from LOTV....I just love this little guy... I have colored him with Spectrum Noirs and yes the background with the Decorative Chalks...

The little snowflakes are made with a punch and I placed some stickles on top to give it that extra look.....

On the side of the image I placed these borders....they are made with a Martha Stewart Punch....and I really like it a lot.....some glitz on top .....

And here is the whole enchelada...LOL.....The papers are from Basic Grey, Wassail...and I might add that I really love these Christmas papers....wohoo.....this is my second Christmas card this year so I better hurry it up eh? MIDWEEK REMINDER PRAIRY FAIRY FUN FRIDAYS.....and more....

Hey there ladies and gents....here we are today with a MIDWEEK REMINDER for Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays....the challenge is Pink and Distressed and I had lots of fun of making a reminder card for you..
This is what I made...

I have played with Roberta's fabulous Digi called.....Purrrrfect Friends....and don't you just love this cutie....you can find her here in Roberta's digishop.....I have played with my Specci's and had lots of fun with the pink colors.....even though I am a purple girl LOL......

I have worked with these embossed butterflies and doubled them up......and the sun gives it that special effect.....

And here is my card when it is finished.....I have used some "old" paperpad that was laying around in my closet, I even forgot that I had them......every border is distressed with the pink colors and on the side of Gilly I have used the Martha Stewart Punch....a little piece of ribbon and my card is done.....

Okeeee here we go, with this weeks challenge.....and the theme for this week is...

Oke here I go......

After I struggled for a long time and did not know what I wanted to make....I finally decided to make a card for the Men Only project, I used the fabulous Fall Seasonal Distress Inks. The colors are really great.......

The Art Parts For the Guys from The Wendy were just perfect.

The first layer on the card was made with The Tim Holtz tissue tape, just like the flower and worked on with distress inks. The lace comes from my own stash and I colored it with the Distress inks too.....

The clock and sentiment come from the stampset The Journey. And I have heat embossed it with the Copper Embossingpowder....to give it that special look....did you ever try it?? If not you just gotta try it sometime.....it really is lots of fun....

Furthermore I have used the Crackle Distress and Glossy Accents. I think I am hooked on that stuff Yess I admit it.....I am addicted to Crackle Distress and Glossy Accents.....LOL...

And here is my finished card......I must say .....maybe you like it....but I am not that pleased as I should be....so silly.....but do you regognize the feeling that you think maybe I should have done this or that.....well that is how I am feeling about this card...and I might add that it is allways a big puzzle what to make for a guy at least for me it is.....making something for a guy is usually a bit harder then to make something for a girl.....but anyways.....I will stop nagging heheeh.....and hope that you will join into the fun...because I did have lots of fun.....this was a real challenge for me.....so come on over to the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog guys and while your there check out my AMAZING teamies creations.....wohoooooo cause they really made beautifull creations.....and you even make a chance on a Fabulous prize......so come on over oke?

We are looking for 2 new design team members to join Sketch Saturday! :)
Initially on a 3 month trial, with a view to a permanent position we hope.

We can't offer you any freebies as that isn't what we are about, although occasionally a sponsor will give us free images which is wonderful and very much appreciated.
But we can offer you friendship, we have a lovely DT (even if I do say so myself!)

What is required:

You MUST have your own personal blog and be prepared to post each week.

You must be able to make a card each week, and upload it before midnight on the Friday before the challenge goes live.
You will get the sketches well in advance, so you will have plenty of time to create.
You can use any craft materials you like to make your DT work (except copyright protected images of course),
The only *rule* is that you stick as close as possible to the sketch, but of course artisitc licence plays a part and is welcomed, you don't have to be 'spot on' but the sketch design needs to be seen within your work.
You must post about our challenge on your own blog each week, leaving links to SS and to our sponsors on all posts.

You must be prepared to leave comments for challengers, currently 1 challenger in every 10, although you are of course allowed to leave comments for more should you have the time to do so.

You will be expected to take a turn hosting a DT week.
DT weeks are the first Saturday of each month, the DT member is asked to make their own sketch for the challenge, arrange a sponsor, and arrange the guest designer (GD) too. You will be expected to type up the post for this week.
DT week is only for one week, but your GD will be with us for the whole month, so would be expected to make a card for each Saturday in the month you would be DT host. You are responsible for uploading your GD's cards each week before the deadline.
You must also type up the winners post the following week after your DT week, and arrange for your winner to receive their prize from your sponsor.

Sketch Saturday is a challenge blog like any other, we have no problem with our DT members being on other challenge blog DTs too.
We expect ALL of our DT members to treat SS with the same respect as others.
If you are currently on other DTs then please do apply to join us if you want to be a part of our team too, however, if it is going to be a problem for you to make a card for us if you have deadlines from other DTs to keep to, then please do not apply if this means that SS could be pushed to one side because you need to make your card for another challenge blog instead. I used the pretty lace underneith my image.....really like it a lot and on top I have placed some beautifull roses.....and I know how is it possible that I did not use stickles heheeh I think I completely forgot..LOL

This just looks like a little sentiment, but the words really mean a lot.

wohoooooo yep we have another wonderfull one for you to join into ......and this week the theme is....

well you might think what the heck is an ATC....well I have learned about it last week LOL, did not know what it was.....so an ATC is an Artistic Trading Card, Sarah had a very nice name for it LOL...Aren't They Cute.....how about that eh? I thought it was very clever heheh....An ATC has the following size 6,4 x 8,9 cm. And you can decorate it the way you want to as long as it is Vintage ....so have some fun and do join in.

oke here we go with this weeks challenge.....wohooo

I had learned from on of my teamies that once I would start with one ATC, the rest would follow and she was right. So I started with one and yep made some more after the first one LOL...I really had fun with making my ATC's...

So I made 3 ATC's with fabulous products from The Wendy Vecchi such as the Just Fly Butterfly and Just Flutterby Butterfly. Just LOVEEEE Butterflies.....On top of these babies...I have used Glossy Accents, Crackle Paint and the middle one was heat Embossed, with Copper Embossingpowder.

The flowers are from Wendy's stampset Dreams of Art just like the border.

The sentiment is from The Tim Holtz Odds and Ends.

This was the first one I made......placed some glossy accents on it and offcourse I had to use the Crackle Accents too....

This was the second one.....have played with the Copper Embossingpowder and lots of Distress inks.....

And last but not least.....and I can tell ya I could have made a lot more....cause when you start with one, yep the rest will follow easy......peasy.....

The ATC's were worked on with Vintage Photo, Rusty Hinge, Wheatered Wood, Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmelade and Dried Marigold.

And this is what I made

I have played with this cute little butterfly, I got this cutie a long time ago, have colored her with the Spectrum Noirs and yes the background is colored with Decorative Chalks.....really like to give the background that kind of glimmer...

Underneith the image I placed the border that I made with a Martha Stewart Punch...really like this one .....

And this is the complete card that I made for this weeks challenge.....the papers are from Basic Grey, the Kioshi Paperpad and don't you just love those pretty purple colors hehehe.....I sure do.....all the borders are worked on with the paperdistresser to give it that extra look. And I placed some gems instead of a sentiment on top of my card.
